چکیده

Abstract Background Fungal endophytes produce many secondary metabolites that can reduce root rot diseases. Soybean is a particularly important crop worldwide. Endophytic fungi be isolated, identified, and incorporated into sustainable agriculture for the biological control of Results The aim this study was to isolate some endophytic controlling most diseases soybean plants mechanisms underlying biocontrol regarding suppression pathogens. Ten were isolated from plants. Among them, 3 isolates exhibited high percentage antagonistic activity against Rhizoctonia solani , causal pathogen disease plants, identified as Trichoderma longibrachiatum S12, T. asperellum S11, atroviride PHYTAT7. had ability pectinase chitinase solubilize phosphors. Moreover, they produced siderophores indole acetic acid (IAA), which have strong effect on growth reduced severity by 64, 60, 55%, respectively than infected control. Conclusion results suggest certain associated with potential management in soybean. these considered having growth-promoting

Induction of defense response against Rhizoctonia solani in cucumber plants by endophytic bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis GS1.

An endophytic bacterium, Bacillus thuringiensis GS1, was isolated from bracken (Pteridium aquilinum) and found to have maximal production of chitinase (4.3 units/ml) at 5 days after culture. This study investigated the ability of B. thuringiensis GS1 to induce resistance to Rhizoctonia solani KACC 40111 (RS) in cucumber plants. Chitinase activity was greatest in RS-treated plants at 4 days. bet...

Isolation and evaluation of bacteria and fungi as biological control agents against Rhizoctonia solani.

Rhizoctonia solani is one of the most important limiting factors for potato production and storage in Belgium and worldwide. Its management is still strongly dependent on chemical treatments. The aim of this work was to evaluate the possibility of exploiting bacteria and fungi in order to control this pathogen. Among a collection of 220 bacterial strains isolated from different organs of health...

Leuconostoc spp. Associated with Root Rot in Sugar Beet and Their Interaction with Rhizoctonia solani.

Rhizoctonia root and crown rot is an important disease problem in sugar beet caused by Rhizoctonia solani and also shown to be associated with Leuconostoc spp. Initial Leuconostoc studies were conducted with only a few isolates and the relationship of Leuconostoc with R. solani is poorly understood; therefore, a more thorough investigation was conducted. In total, 203 Leuconostoc isolates were ...

Biotechnological prospecting of foliar endophytic fungi of guaco (Mikania glomerata Spreng.) with antibacterial and antagonistic activity against phytopathogens.

Mikania glomerata (Spreng.), popularly known as "guaco", is a plant from the Asteraceae family that has many therapeutic properties. The use of medicinal plants has been examined in studies on endophytic diversity and bioprospecting; endophytes inhabit the interior of plants without harming them. Microorganism-host complex interactions are related to the production of compounds that may confer ...

Diversity of Endophytic Fungi Associated with Taraxacum coreanum and Their Antifungal Activity

Endophytic fungi were isolated from healthy leaf and root samples of Taraxacum coreanum. Of the 72 isolates recovered, 39 were from leaves and 33 from roots with an isolation frequency of 54% and 46%, respectively. Based on ITS sequence analysis, 72 isolates were classified into 19 genera of which 17 were under the phylum Ascomycota and 2 were under Basidiomycota. Diverse genera were found and ...
